Sun Server

Sun xVM is a product group from Sun Microsystems that addresses virtualization technology on x86 platforms.

 

VM Ware

VMware's desktop software runs on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. VMware's enterprise software, VMware ESX Server, runs directly on server hardware without requiring an additional underlying operating system.

 

Oracle VM Virtual Box

It is an x86 virtualization software package, originally created by German software company innotek GmbH, purchased by Sun Microsystems, and now developed by Oracle Corporation as part of its family of virtualization products. It is installed on an existing host operating system; within this application, additional guest operating systems, each known as a Guest OS, can be loaded and run, each with its own virtual environment.

 

Oracle Solaris

Oracle VM is the server virtualization offering from Oracle Corporation. Oracle VM is based on the open-source Xen hypervisor technology, supports Windows, Linux, and Oracle Solaris, guests and includes an integrated Web browser based management console. Oracle VM features fully tested and certified Oracle Applications stack in an enterprise virtualization environment.
